不管新的一年里新冠肺炎发生了什么，它是否会继续下去就是另一回事了，但周五下午我接到了一个电话，说我可以在1月17日进行我的第一次髋关节置换手术——今天只有4周，我完全吓坏了!但与此同时，我一直都很痛苦，很难做一个称职的母亲。我的丈夫在帮助我方面做得很好，但他也有全职工作，我11岁的女儿为我做的比我希望她做的多得多，她是一个小明星。小甜心今天问我想不想试试她吃的治偏头痛的扑热息痛片，然后问我是否可以在我注射了吗啡后再吃一片，然后她去给我送了一个❤

每个人都是怎样的?我正忙着为圣诞节做准备，我们要招待10只外加3只狗!

    我真为你高兴。现在你必须勇敢起来想想你的女儿和丈夫最重要的是你自己。我最小的女儿在1月初做了肩部置换手术，当时她19岁，虽然有点匆忙，但非常值得，我知道你会很高兴做了这个手术。

    这是个好消息!不要想太多。我决定信任医护人员，让他们做他们最擅长的事。效果很好。这是一项大行动，但现在也是例行公事，而且很快就会结束。他们已经习惯了人们的紧张，他们会说，会做所有正确的事情来让你的紧张平静下来。这样做的回报就是立即摆脱了那种可怕的痛苦，然后你只需要善待自己，善待自己的身体，让它开始愈合。你的家人已经在帮你了，真是太好了，你女儿听起来真贴心。

    Whether or not it'll go ahead with whatever happens with Covid in the new year is another matter, but I had a call on Friday afternoon to say I can get my first hip replacement on the 17th of January - that's just 4 weeks today and I'm utterly terrified! At the same time though, I'm in so much pain all of the time and it's so hard to be a proper mum. My husband is brilliant at doing loads to help but he's also working full time, and my 11 year old is doing far more for me than I'd choose for her to be doing, she's a little star. The little sweetie asked me today if I would like to try one of her Panadol tablets that she takes for her migraines, and then asked if it would be OK to take one when I'd had morphine, and then she went and got me one ❤<\/p>
